Scheduling
Sessions are usually scheduled weekly and last 50 minutes. In some cases, family or couples therapy sessions will be scheduled for 75 minute sessions.
Important: Prior to your first appointment, please download, print, and fill out the necessary forms below and bring them with you to your first appointment. All of the information you provide is confidential.
Call Us: You may reach us by phone at (985) 710 1202 to schedule an appointment. If we are not available when you call, your call will be answered by our confidential answering machine. If your call isn't returned within 24 hours, please call again.
Cancellations: Any session cancelled without a 24-hour advance notice will be charged to the client. Should you know in advance of a conflict in your schedule, an alternate session time will be offered.
Payments and Insurance: My Father’s House Counseling does not participate with insurance. However, if your insurance policy covers out of network or third-party providers, we can provide you with a coded receipt that you can file for reimbursement with your insurance company. We kindly ask that payment be made in full before each session begins.
Payments can be made through Venmo, Zelle, Cash or Check.
Session fees: Individual session: $150 per 50 minute session. Couple’s or family session: $300 per 75 minute session.
Virtual appointments: We provide virtual counseling upon request through a secure and confidential format.
Evenings and Weekends: Appointments may be available. Please call to check.
